Event Information:

The Hangover in Hanover is a social event, aiming to bring riders from all ends of South Africa together for a fun-filled social gathering. It is about the ride, the camaraderie, the thrill of the open road, the discovery of new towns, new eating places and watering holes, appreciating the bare beauty of the Karoo, and most of all, forming lifelong relationships with friends, old and new.
 

The Hangover in Hanover is a convergence of Harley Riders sharing the freedom of the open road. Don't expect the usual Rally stuff. This social event is more about the ride and the “kuier”. Think of it as a 700km party run.

HarleyHavenSA brings you a shared destination in the middle of the Karoo, and in the middle of our beautiful Country, where riders from all corners can converge and share an evening or two of laughter, relaxation, telling long stories by burning fires, and share a few drinks. Oh and don’t forget, sharing some hangovers in Hanover.
 

So why Hanover? Well, it is perfectly situated between Cape Town and Gauteng, with similar distances from the Garden Route and KZN. So it is the ideal location. But more than this, Hanover is a small town in the middle of the most beautiful landscape (the Karoo), and we love investing in small towns and small businesses. The locals love hearing the sound of the Thunderous Harley's ripping through town!

Bookings:

Bookings are for your accommodation in town. Various Guest Houses and other establishments in town are available, and bookings are to be made directly with these. The Hanover Luxury Hotel will be the venue of the main events on the programme.
 

Weekend Programme:
 

Friday 25 October:

• Riders arrive at their own pace and time from various destinations. Check into your accommodation and make your way to the friendly pub at the Hanover Luxury Hotel, or relax by the poolside in the Garden.

• From 6pm - Meet and greet at the Hanover Luxury Hotel.

• From 7pm - Dinner at your own leisure. Either order from the A-La-Cart menu at the Hanover Luxury Hotel, or enjoy dinner at any of the establishments in Town.
   

Saturday 26 October:

• Breakfast at your guest house / accommodations

• From 11am - Meet up at the Hanover Luxury Hotel poolside for brunch and some poolside music and laughter. (own cost / included for Hotel Residents)

• From 4pm - Pub Crawl in Hanover (on foot). Explore the local watering holes and meet some some of the locals. (We will visit 3-5 pubs / restaurants)

• From 7pm - Karoo Braai with the famous Hanover Luxury Hotel spread of sides. Poolside Party with music, shooters, laughter and lots of shenanigans. (Own cost)
   

Sunday 27 October:

• Breakfast at your guest house / accommodations

• Depart for home at leisure.
